Congratulations to Prof. Claudia Kedar on winning an ISF research grant

Prof. Claudia Kedar was awarded a research grant from the Israel Science Foundation (ISF). This grant enables her to start a new research, entitled "Between Reconstruction and Development: The History of World Bank Disaster Relief for Latin America."

Dr Jorge Gordin, visiting professor at the Australian National University

Dr Jorge Gordin returned from his visit to the Australian National University. Among his participation in different academic events, the guest lecture "Delegative Federalism? Subnational Abdication and Executive Fiscal Centralization in Argentina" that Dr Gordin held in the School of Politics & International Relations stands out.

The third prize winners with the project Club Amlat are Natanel Fons and Saar Kravitz, third-year students of the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies.

The award committee was impressed by their initiative to establish a club with the support of the university's innovation center, which serves as a platform for creative thinking to find solutions to the challenges faced by South American countries. The Club Amlat addresses students from the entire university, private companies and entrepreneurs from Israel in Latin American countries and is a meeting point for innovative initiatives with an international perspective. 
The Club Amlat arose within the framework of the course 29012 Latin America in a Global World: Introduction and Practice, under the responsibility of Dr Mauricio Dimant.
