BA Studies

In the first year of studies, students become familiar with various fields of study through a wide selection of introductory courses in literature, history, linguistics, and languages (Spanish, Portuguese or Ladino). In the second year, with the help of our academic advisors, students choose from a variety of courses in history, literature, politics, culture and/or linguistics. The third year of the degree program includes advanced courses which deepen the knowledge and skills that students have acquired during the first two years of their degree studies and become highly proficient in Spanish, Portuguese and/or Ladino.

B.A. Program

Extension of the undergraduate degree (B.A.) works

These standards conform to the European higher education regulations, that is:

• End course papers: 6-8 pp.

• Seminar papers (B.A.): 9-10 pp. (Language and Linguistics), 18-20 pp. (History, Literature, Politics, Culture)

All works should be written with a space of 1.5, with margins of 3 cm. on both sides, and clearly and neatly arranged. Preferably, a single type of character should be used (e.g. Times New Roman) of standard size (e.g. 12), using a smaller size in citations and footnotes or endnotes (e.g. 10). All pages should be numbered (except the cover page).

Since papers written in Hebrew often require less space, we recommend limiting them to the minimum number of pages listed above.
