Teaching fields: Portuguese language and literature
Born in Foz do Iguaçu, in the south of Brazil, Joyce Fernandes has a Masters in Comparative Literature at the State University of Western Paraná, and has worked as a teacher for over 10 years in the fields of foreign languages and literature. She has taught English, Portuguese and Literature to students of different ages, backgrounds and nationalities. She has also worked as a coordinator in language schools, being responsible for teacher training and students pedagogical support. As a teacher for undergraduate and graduate students, besides language and literature, she has also taught second language acquisition theories.
